An Electric Bike should be easier to pedal than a regular bike! If your bike is hard to pedal, you want to make sure it is powered on, and in the correct PAS, or Pedal Assistance level using the + and - buttons on the left-hand side of the handlebar. Also, the gearing on the right-hand side needs to be set correctly. While riding, rotate the shifter away from you while pedaling for NuVinci Equipped models, or bikes with regular gears - twist the shifter until you are in gears 1, 2, or 3 to get started.
