If you prefer to stay in the BLUE mode (automatic) - we recommend keeping it set at around ½ way full of blue, and pedal a bit easier at the beginning of a hill, which will allow the system to shift smoothly. Remember to use Pedal Assist level 5 when climbing steep hills! Using all of the available gear range will give you the best performance and range possible.
